Deleting a User from Microsoft Windows Server 2008

Problem

How do you delete a user from Microsoft Windows Server 2008?

Resolution

To delete a user from Microsoft Windows Server 2008

First click the Windows Start button and type MMC and hit enter.



When the MMC application opens, select Active Directory users and computers and add it to the selected Snap-Ins.



Next Find the User you want to delete and right click on the name.



You will be presented a list of options



Left click on Delete to complete the process. The user should no longer have access to the system.
