GFI Faxmaker unable to send using [fax:XXX-XXX-XXXX] alias when running Exchange 2007 UM

- Users are unable to send faxes through GFI Faxmaker using Outlook as a client when Unified Messaging fax receiving has been enabled for the user.
- Emails stay in the outbox of the Outlook client when sent to Faxmaker using the [fax:XXX-XXX-XXXX] alias in the To: field

- disable fax receipt capability in Exchange Server 2007 Unified Messaging
- this task can be performed at the user level or at the Dial Plan Level
- from Exchange Management Console - Recipient Configuration - Mailbox- right click on the user and select Properties
- Select Mailbox Features Tab
- Select Unified Messaging
- Click Properties



- Unselect - Allow the user to receive faxes
