Description

If you have an HP universal driver installed in your environment and notice system performance issues on your server or computer, you most likely need to perform registry editing or update HP driver.

Resolution

1.  Log in to the server.

2.  Go to Start - > Run -> Type REGEDIT press enter, this will open the registry

4.  The registry path is most likely
  [HKEY_LOCAL_Machine\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\WindowsNTx86\Drivers\Version-3\(driver you are looking for)

5.  Double click the dependent file and delete the text HPZBDI32.msi which causes the msiexec.exe service to constantly run and cause the performance issue.

6.  Click OK and exit the registry

7.  Monitor your system for msiexec.exe service running.
